FAQ

  • What form of payment do you accept?
    Townsend Speech & Language Therapy accepts all major credit & debit cards, cash, or checks. Credit and debit card transactions are through a secured online service and clients can elect into automatic payments to reduce hassle.
  • Do you accept insurance?
    We do not accept insurance at this time. However, Madison will provide you with a Superbill which can be submitted for possible reimbursement to your insurance company.
  • Does my child need an evaluation to start therapy?
    Yes. An evaluation is a crucial initial step to develop an appropriate treatment plan. Madison requires an evaluation unless the child has an outside evaluation from another Speech & Language Pathologist within the past year.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    If you cannot attend a session, please cancel at least 48 hours prior to your session or you will be charged a full rate.
  • Where does therapy take place?
    All therapy and evaluations take place in the home of the client.
  • What is a Superbill?
    A Superbill is a claim that can be submitted to your insurance for Out-Of-Network services to potentially receive reimbursement. Clients are responsible for finding out information regarding Out Of Network coverages from their insurance company.
